Wherever You Go, There You Are

First off, hello, secondly follow my personal twitter @itsBILFY and my campaign twitter @StephMcMahonDVD

I created this blog to give me something to do, to put all these random irrelevant lists of mine into one place. For whatever reason, I make lists.. mostly of things that are my favorites, so if you care to stick around I'll be uploading lots of facts about myself, favorite movies, music, and all this other stuff that probably would bore you, but if you decided to hang around then I'll say thank you.. Anyway, here it is..

I Defend Stephanie McMahon
I have been thinking lately about writing an article/blog in regards to my pretend wife for a while and now is the time. A recent article I read titled “Stephanie McMahon is a moron and its affects on the company” made me nod my head as I lightly bit my lower lip, raised my eyebrows and sat back in my office chair looking up at my framed WWE magazine featuring Stephanie McMahon grinning in red with the title “Talkin’ Smack” Now we all obviously have our opinions and not everyone will agree….here is me not agreeing. Stephanie McMahon was hired in 1998 by her father. Yes we all know, family members get easy-ins at companies and Stephanie getting hired is an example, although not a prime example as she was never really handed anything. She went to college and learned what she needed to get into the family business. She has earned her current spot in the company, she worked her way up the ranks and anyone can be bitter by continuously throwing in the fact that her father runs the joint but Vince McMahon does not seem like the type that would give major responsibilities to people he doesn’t think could handle them. (Dont mention Mike Adamle, he doesn’t count because he was a character on tv and didnt have any influence behind the scenes) As wrestling fans we don’t know Vince personally, we know him through dirt sheets and interviews. His resume is astonishing, he has all the experience people dream of having. Regardless of how the product is, he always seems to be an inspiration, a hard working, take no prisoners, grabbing life by the throat and squeezing son of a gun. With that said, there would be no suprise if Stephanie inherited some of that mentality from her old man. In regards to the so called “idiotic” creative mistakes, I could pick at this whole part of the article but I dont want to. I don’t need to, this is just a bunch of opinions on the shows characters and what they should do and should’nt do so I’ll just skip my thoughts on that, but will just mention this. We are not behind the scenes, we don’t have the experience as the people backstage. They understand us fans, and they choose what they think is best, there are reasons why they do things and usually we see the outcome on TV or on websites. They have been evolving with the internet world. A huge reason why the Attitude Era was amazing, besides nostalgia; it’s the fact that the internet did not play a major role in the wrestling world. WWE can now see what the wrestling world is thinking by twitter, facebook, forums ect… and alot of wrestling fans can be very critical. Some bash WWE all the time yet they tune in next week to watch it. As a wrestling fan it’s fun to guess on what will happen next. Our imaginations might become alittle overboard at times with very unlikely scenarios which will then bum us out if the outcome of a storyline isn’t as epic as we created in our minds. With that said Stephanie McMahon, the Creative, all have their own process and if you don’t like the current product, you can change the channel. My thoughts on Stephanie McMahon and HHH getting married, simple I’m happy for them. Then again if they never got married and Stephanie never had kids we would have had more TV time of the beautiful billion dollar princess! But anyway, good for her and her personal successes. To say Stephanie made a damaging mistake by marrying HHH and calling her a “bird-brained bitch” is totally inappropriate and immature. Stephanie and HHH have 3 little girls together, it wasn’t easy for them to be a couple. Vince gave his blessing that they could date.. then after ridicule he told them it had to stop. So they had to follow the bosses/fathers demand, while continuing to play a couple on screen during the McMahon-Helmsey Era.. Then later on they got back together and eventually got married. I’m sure it wasn’t easy for HHH, but guess what, they are married! And yes we all know HHH became almost a one man show on Raw, yes he is a mark for himself but if you were him you would be a mark for yourself if you really loved the business. I’m sure CM Punk marks out every time he re-watches his matches and see how great he did! It’s the heart, the passion, perhaps ego did play a role but do you blame him? Everybody at one point in their life gets an ego.. So if HHH became the face of the WWE, or a one man show and if it was because he was making the bosses daughter happy then good for him! To be on Vince McMahon’s good side, to be dating Stephanie McMahon, to be getting TV time and winning matches.. besides calling him one of the luckiest people on the planet, we also call this BACKSTAGE POLITICS. People reading this right now most likely have had a part in choosing favorites, helping out friends ect.. It’s ok if your part of the in crowd but when you’re not, it feels crumby and unfair. If you were in HHH’s spot, and Vince liked you personally, trusted you with his daughter and thought you were a great performer and wanted to give you the #1 spot on the roster.. what would you say? “No Vince, I possibly could not accept that amazing offer, main event should always be Al Snow vs Himself” Look at it this way, he wasn’t Hollywood Hogan in WCW…. As far as HHH putting himself in matches lately, guess what?  People want to see HHH, People want to see Brock Lesnar vs HHH, .. You talk about creative being idiotic, yet when a huge name like HHH comes back you bash that too? You have to put on your Smark Hat and act like you really know what’s going on? Can’t just sit back and enjoy the show? Can WWE not satisfy you? In conclusion, I haven’t always agreed with Stephanie’s backstage decisions, but there is nothing wrong with that. To trash her though because YOU are not satisfied and calling her hurtful names is awful and very disrespectful.
